The Encore Reel
Each gallery on Professional+ auto-generates a 9:16 vertical highlight reel. ~60 seconds, your studio's aesthetic, ready for the client to post on Instagram, TikTok, or wherever the reach is.
How it triggers
Open the Reel tab on any gallery. Click Generate. The render runs in the background queue (typically 30 seconds to 2 minutes for a 100-photo gallery). The Reel tab shows a status pill. Queued → Rendering → Ready.
What it's made of
The pipeline picks frames using your manual ordering, the audio sync if you've uploaded one, and a Ken Burns motion across each frame. Audio is your gallery's soundtrack track if set, or silent.
Sharing it
Once Ready, the Reel tab gives you:
- A direct MP4 download link
- A "Send to client" button that emails the reel separately from the gallery
- A copy-link button for the public gallery's reel block
Clients who visit the gallery see the reel embedded above the photo grid (auto-plays muted).
If the render fails
Re-trigger from the Reel tab. The queue worker retries up to 3 times automatically; manual re-trigger resets the attempt count. Persistent failures usually mean a corrupt original photo somewhere in the gallery. Surface the gallery's frame list and check thumbnails. The Reel error message names the failing frame.
