Sharing galleries with clients

The Send to client button on the gallery editor is the canonical share path. Everything below is about controlling what the client experiences.

Email send

Top-right of the editor: Send to client →. The form takes:

  • One or more email addresses
  • A short personal message (becomes the email body)
  • A "share password" toggle that emails the client the gallery password if one's set

The email comes from your studio's verified email-from address (Settings → Brand → Email from), or falls back to the platform default. Recipients see your studio's logo, name, and the gallery cover in the inbox preview.

Password gate

Gallery Settings → Password row. Set a password and any non-link visitor sees a password gate. Tracked per-visitor: once a client unlocks, the cookie remembers them for that gallery. Changing the password invalidates every previous unlock.

Expiry

Set Stage to anniversary for a one-year-from-now reveal flow. For shorter gates, use the gallery's expiry field (Settings → Visibility row).

Preview as client

Top of the editor: Preview → opens the gallery in a fresh client session. No favorites, no email cookie, a banner at the top lets you exit back to the admin view. Use this to verify what the client actually sees before you hit Send.
