Two-factor authentication
2FA adds a 6-digit time-based code from an authenticator app on top of your password. Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication.
Setup
1. Click Set up 2FA.
2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator (1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator, Bitwarden. Any TOTP app works).
3. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows.
4. Save the recovery codes shown after setup. These are single-use, can be used in place of a TOTP code if you lose your phone, and cannot be re-displayed. Print or password-manager them now.
Sign-in flow
Email + password → 6-digit code prompt → in. The code field also accepts a single recovery code.
Lost both phone and recovery codes
Email hello@encore.photo from your account email. We'll verify identity through other channels (last invoice card, last gallery URL, etc.) and reset 2FA. This is intentionally manual to keep the bar high.
